Becoming a member of the SAFPPA is a two-step process because there are two organizations involved.
The form below is for the pensioners’ association and is required for our records.
But to become a dues-paying member of the pensioners association, retirees need to go through the San Antonio Fire and Police Pension Fund also. You will need to talk to a Benefits Specialist by calling 210-534-3262. They will give you the Dues Deduction form requiring your signature for dues to the pensioners’ association. Membership in SAFPPA becomes active when we receive your first payment from the deduction.
