REPORTS of COMMITTEES
Pension Fund Committee
Larry Reed reported that the fund is at 3,395 Billion which is up 5 million YTD. For the board to consider a 13th check the fund needs to make 5% or greater for the fiscal year 2020. Inflation for the first 7 months of 2020 is at 0.1%. The Fund Office is still closed and employees are working remotely from home, The office will open for members on an appointment basis when and if needed, A legislative package is again being proposed to see if it will be endorsed by all groups. This is a proposal that deals only with language in the fund document. Larry advised there may be an actuary study on the impact of working some of the post 99ers into the 100% cola. This will not be included in the legislative package this year. The next board meeting is on Sept 30, 2020 at 9:30 in the pension office.
Pre-Funded Health Insurance Committee
Henry Trevino reported the Fund was at $414, 440,606,35 as of 8-31-2020. Henry advised that the board is looking into the surviving spousal benefit after remarriage to see what, if any, the impact there will be to the fund.
PAC Fund Committee/ Endorsement Committee
Bart Moczygemba reported on a recent board meeting where 2 endorsements were confirmed. There was a suggestion at that meeting to mail out a notice to all retirees to get out and vote. Coordination need to be made with the Pension Fund to get mailing labels and Larry Reed advises that should not be a problem.
PAC Treasurers Report
PAC Treasurer, Don Wagoner, reported on the income and expenses of the PAC and gave the balance in the account.

After the PAC report, President Trainer adjourned the meeting without opposition.
